NYATS CHARITY and DISASTER RELIEF FUND

New York Albany Tamil Sangam (NYATS) as a non-profitable 501(c) (3) organization, has involved itself in many local and overseas aid activities, when and where possible. Thanks to all NYATS members, admirers and friends for their generous donations and support.

Here are some achievements and plans to mention:

ACTIVITIES:

Extraordinary situations like Unexpected incidents/ Natural disaster/ pandemic warrant extraordinary efforts from all of us as a community.

Keeping in line with our tradition of extending our helping hand whenever we can, NYATS is launching a CHARITY / RELIEF fund-raising effort to collect donations from our generous members. 

Our intention is to provide a considerable financial support deserving individual or group of people in need. Part of which we are providing helping hands to

• Ancient arts which are on the verge of extinction
• People who lost their livelihood due to disaster / pandemic
• Seasonal needs like school supplies, food drive, winter coat/blankets drive
• Higher studies of talented kids, welfare of Girl child & Transgender
• Enhancement projects in village and underdeveloped locations in India.
• The campaigned funds will be targeted to support all good causes not limed to the above mentioned.
